Playgirls

Playgirls is a group of women who love to sew. It is not a part of the Evergreen Quilters, but many of our members started and attend this group. It is open to anyone who loves to sew with others with the same passion. There is no program. You just bring what you'd like to work on and have a day free from interruptions.

You can work on anything you like, or nothing at all....... just come and visit. Bring something to share for lunch!.

They meet twice a month. For now, they meet the first and third Thursday of the month at the Ferndale Library.
See times below. You are welcome to come and go as you please.

NOTE: The above schedule can be changed at any time. We will attempt to put the most current schedule here to keep you informed.

Here is the most current schedule for Playgirls:

Do check back, since these days and times are subject to change.

NQC - Northwest Quilting Connection

Northwest Quilting Connection is a "guild" that meets 5 times/year at various locations in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties. A restructuring is taking place since the pandemic because the Canadians are no longer participating. A schedule will be posted here when available.
Their mission is to promote and further educate the art of quilting for it's members. A speaker is brought in for each meeting to talk about what they particularly like to do in the world of quilting. Often they may have products to sell as well. Aside from the speaker, it is a good way to get to know other quilters that may live a bit further out of your normal circles. They conduct a brief business meeting and include other activities as well.
They always meet on a Saturday from 10am to about 1-2pm. You are to bring your own lunch, but the hosting guild will supply "goodies" as well.
Anyone can join the guild. The annual dues are $30/yr. You may also attend any meeting for $7 as a guest.
