Most recent program:
August 20, 2019 - Diane Coombs
Diane Coombs has held almost every role in the quilting community, from teacher to shop owner, pattern maker, preservationist and appraiser. A member of Busy Bee Quilters and Quilters Anonymous, she’s served on guilds and even as a quilt show travel guide. Diane began as many young women then did, assembling quilts for friends’ babies. But as the children, including her own five, grew, she never gave up the hobby. Diane shared many beautiful quilts with us. Thank you Diane!
- Upcoming programs:
September 17, 2019- Quilt Show final details
This program has been saved to wrap up final details before our quilt show at the end of this week. Please bring your quilts to the church on this day so they can be sorted and organized. Make sure you have pinned the numbers Jan B. gave you on the front of the quilt. If you haven't received your numbers yet, please contact Jan B. If you cannot make this meeting, please contact the receiver nearest you: Carol D. in central Bellingham; Sally S. in north Bellingham; Jo B. in Whatcom county (north of Ferndale). There will also be an opportunity to fill in any jobs/times on the master schedule for working the quilt show. Izzy is in charge of this schedule, so please contact her if you can do a job and haven't sign up yet and can't make this meeting. We all need to participate to make this a successful show!
