Sadly, in 2023 we will no longer be having a spring luncheon with another guild until further notice.

2022 Spring Luncheon with PieceAbles of Lynden

Our spring luncheon was held this year with PieceAbles guild in Lynden, WA for the first time. We had a great salad and dessert lunch. There was a "get to know you" game which helped all of us to circulate and get to better know those in the two groups. A challenge was issued to make a small quilt less than 16" that made you "Think Spring". There were 7 entries and all definitely met the challenge. It was a viewer's choice and the winners were:
1st place: Dianna S.
2nd place: Virginia K.
3rd place: Carol D.
Then we had a show and share from members of both guilds. It was great to see what everyone has been working on. Please enjoy the slide show below:

2019 Luncheon

The 2019 luncheon was held on Thursday May 2, 2019 hosted by the Piece Arch Quilters in White Rock. Quite a number of us carpooled up to Canada to enjoy this annual event. Each guest received a handmade thread catcher from the Piece Arch Quilters. We  then enjoyed a wonderful show and tell from both guilds. Photos are shared below. After indulging in a great potluck lunch, we played two games of "Heads or Tails". Winners took home a prize. The "Going Green" challenge had several participants. The top three winners were Jo B., Anne G-M., and Carol D. A good time was had by all!
